The Eagle & Badge Foundation raises funds to support members of the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) and their families, as well as other initiatives focused on improving community health and safety. The Foundation’s first donation went to providing an emotional support Labrador retriever to an LAPD officer’s son who has moderately severe autism. More recently, the Foundation has sponsored LAPD officers who helped raise funds for cancer research through participating in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.
The Foundation also offers financial support to the families of fallen officers, such as Randal Simmons, who paid the ultimate price for serving and protecting the community. Also focusing on projects that serve the community at large, the Foundation funded a traffic safety mural to encourage responsible driving after cars struck several children in the Los Angeles area.
