Recently, Allied Wallet announced it had expanded the number of available payment methods for its users in Israel. Supporting Israel’s booming e-commerce environment and rising demand for international goods, Allied Wallet now accepts Isracard, Mint, Mobiamo, Webmoney, and Yandex.
Consumers can use these payment methods when shopping, and Israeli merchants using Allied Wallet services will be able to accept these payment methods in stores, online, and at mobile points of sale. Approximately 4.36 million shoppers are already active in Israel's e-commerce environment, spending an average of $1,340 per year online.
Israeli consumers make frequent cross-border purchases from countries such as Turkey, Germany, India, and China, which increases their need for convenient and secure global payment technology. The sectors of electronics, media, and fashion are expected to drive continued e-commerce growth in Israel.
